How It All Started

It was Fall 2020 and Covid was shutting down EVERYTHING - all the fun stuff, including my favorite theater camp.

I decided to pull a group of neighborhood kids together and put on a small production of Annie. Well, that grew into something much larger, culminating in a 3-day performance that drew hundreds from the local area to come and watch. We were even featured on the news!

Fast forward to today and our little theater group has grown into something I am so proud of. In prep for our final performances, we run a 3-week camp that gathers the kids to work on developing their theater skills and learning how to work as a team. That camp culminates in “tech week” in which we run full dress rehearsals before our final weekend performances.

I am also especially grateful for our partnership with Hurley House, a non-profit dedicated to supporting individuals and families that are victims of substance abuse. During our performances, we operate a concession stand and all proceeds from the stand go directly to Hurley House.

I’m amazed at what Park Hill Plays has grown into and have learned so much working with these awesome kids.

Annie featured on the Channel 9 news

In the News!

Denver Channel 9 news swung by the set to feature my first production.

Our Team

Joining me is Avery Ash, who has been instrumental in helping me write and produce my plays.

Avery focuses on sets and props and if there are any problems I can always count on her to sort them out!

In addition, she assists with the day-to-day operations of our 3-week camps and is indispensable during our final performances.
