A community theater camp for kids

We’re Back For Another Year!

Get ready for Fairytale Adaptations! We’re switching things up a bit this summer. This summer we will be putting on a showcase, rather than one full play. Campers will be split up into groups and assigned a fairytale adaptation to bring to life! They will learn about the important elements of theater such as characters, blocking, costumes, set, sound, etc.

Camp runs from August 4th-August 17th (2 weeks). The camp is 8:30am-12:30 pm every weekday, with exceptions for dress rehearsals.

Final performances are August 16 & 17th at 6pm.

About Park Hill Plays

Back in Fall 2020, when Covid was shutting down everything (even my favorite theater camp), I got the idea to gather a bunch of kids from my neighborhood and put on a small production. It turned out way bigger than I expected, with a 3-day performance that attracted a lot of local people, and we even made it onto the news!

Today our productions attract hundreds from the neighborhood and we partner with a non-profit, Hurley House, to help raise awareness and funds for their cause.

“Ava and Avery are fabulous — accomplishing great productions in three short weeks and making it fun for the kids in the process! There’s also nothing better than feeing like the whole experience is supported by the neighborhood and truly local. ”

Danielle Y.

“In just three weeks, camp turns into a spectacular outdoor show that fills the soul! Park Hill Plays is what every neighborhood needs. It unites community for good ol’ fashion neighborly fun. It has been one of the greatest highlights of our children’s lives.”
