A community theater camp for kids
Coming Summer 2025! Fairytale Adaptations
Park Hill Plays is back for another year of camp! However, we are switching things up a bit this summer. This summer we will be putting on a showcase, rather than one full play. Campers will be split up into groups and assigned a fairytale adaptation to bring to life! They will learn about the important elements of theater such as characters, blocking, costumes, set, sound, etc. Camp will run from August 4th-August 17th (2 weeks). The camp is 8:30am-12:30 pm every weekday, with exceptions for dress rehearsals.
Age Requirements: Because camp is shorter, there is more responsibility on the campers. Campers must be entering 4th grade and can not be older than entering 7th grade.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to sign up early to save your spot.
About Park Hill Plays
Back in Fall 2020, when Covid was shutting down everything (even my favorite theater camp), I got the idea to gather a bunch of kids from my neighborhood and put on a small production. It turned out way bigger than I expected, with a 3-day performance that attracted a lot of local people, and we even made it onto the news!
Today our productions attract hundreds from the neighborhood and we partner with a non-profit, Hurley House, to help raise awareness and funds for their cause.

“Ava and Avery are fabulous — accomplishing great productions in three short weeks and making it fun for the kids in the process! There’s also nothing better than feeing like the whole experience is supported by the neighborhood and truly local. ”
